In April, Gustavo will conduct an Italian double: The beginning is made with his debut at the Orchestra Sinfonica Nazionale della RAI in Torino, where a programme consisting of works by Schubert, Schumann, Rimsky-Korsakov and Stravinsky is on the music stands on 5 and 6 April. Soloist for Schumann’s Cello Concerto will be Mario Brunello.
Bologna is the destination on April 16: With the Filarmonica del Teatro Comunale di Bologna, Gustavo teams up for a concert evening with Sibelius’ Violin Concerto and soloist Sarah Chang as well as Brahms’ second Symphony.
