On 26 July, Gustavo will make his debut with the acclaimed Los Angeles Philharmonic: For the orchestra’s annual summer season at L.A.’s legendary open air stage, the Hollywood Bowl, he will team up with the up-and-coming pianist George Li for an all-Grieg programme and lead the orchestra in front of almost 18000 listeners. The concert programme thus includes Edvard Grieg’s Piano Concerto, the prelude to the first act of “Peer Gynt” and his two “Peer Gynt” orchestral suites, featuring the Norwegian’s well-known tunes like the “Morning Mood” or “In the Hall of the Mountain King”.
