Gustavo Gimeno starts the new season with a cycle of Beethoven’s Piano Concertos together with Krystian Zimerman. The iconic polish pianist is celebrated world-wide for his expressive, personal interpretations.
Starting on September 17, they will present Beethoven’s five Piano Concertos in a series of concerts with the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg – in Luxembourg and Dortmund – and the Concertgebouworkest in Amsterdam. The program also includes pieces by Webern, Schönberg and Berg, as well as the world premiere of Christiaan Richter’s new work “2270”.
