Once a year, the town of Ingolstadt in Bavaria comes into the focus of classical music lovers worldwide: For the Audi Sommerkonzerte, the car manufacturer brings the best and most renowned orchestras and soloists into the town at the Danube. For this year’s opening of the festival on 1 July, Gustavo Gimeno is going to conduct his very own Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg in several arias and orchestra pieces by Mozart, featuring soprano Annette Dasch, and Tchaikovsky’s Symphony no. 4.
