A highlight of every orchestra’s seasonal planning are the concerts around New Year’s Eve – with the renowned Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Gustavo has the privilege of conducting the famous New Year’s Concert, which in 2017 will consist of the second act of Johann Strauss’ „Die Fledermaus“. Among the cast of the concert performance are internationally praised baritone Markus Werba, mezzosoprano Michaela Selinger and soprano Silvana Dussmann.
