After three months without live concerts, the Philharmonie Luxembourg has opened their doors again. Armed with a sanitary concept that includes a limited audience and no physical box office, live music can once again be enjoyed in the Grand Auditorium.

On June 25, Gustavo Gimeno led the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg in a performance of Brahms’ Symphony No. 1 to honour the Philharmonie’s 15th birthday. The concert stream is available here.

On July 9, they will retake the stage with Beethoven’s Symphony no. 6. In the “Pastorale”, Beethoven depicted nature scenes like birdcalls, babbling brooks and thunderstorms, setting a tonal monument to nature and country life. More information: https://www.philharmonie.lu/de/programm/back-to-live
