Europe Tour with Beatrice Rana and the OPL

In the new year, Gustavo Gimeno and the Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg will embark on a Europe tour: Together with renowned pianist Beatrice Rana, they will perform Rachmaninov’s famous Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, Op.43 in Luxembourg, Germany and Spain. Starting in the familiar concert hall of the Philharmonie Luxembourg on January 14, they will then continue to Cologne, Zaragoza and Madrid before playing their last concerts in Tenerife and Las Palmas. The program also includes Unsuk Chin’s „Subito con Forza“, painting with the bold brush strokes of the avant-garde, and César Franck’s remarkable – and only – Symphony in D minor.
