In July, Gustavo Gimeno and the Luxembourg Philharmonic will embark on a tour to Germany, the Netherlands and Spain. They are joined by renowned pianist Yuja Wang, who will be playing the solo part in Sergei Rachmaninov’s „Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini in A minor“ – a work known for its sound splendour and virtuosity. The second part of the program consists of Strauss’ suite from „Der Rosenkavalier“ and Ravel’s scintillating „La Valse“.
The tour starts at Rheingau Musik Festival on July 2, continuing on to Amsterdam on July 3 and ending on two concerts at the Granada Festival on July 6 and 7. More information: https://gustavogimeno.com/schedule/
