This November, Gustavo Gimeno returns to the USA. On 23 and 4 November, Gimeno conducts National Symphony Orchestra Washington for Tania León’s Pasajes, Brahms’ Symphony No.4 and Elgar Cello Concerto with Camille Thomas.

On 10 and 11 November, he returns to Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, to conduct the US premiere of Daniel Bjarnason’s I Want to Be Alive — Trilogy for Orchestra First Part: Echo/​Narcissus, Tchaikovsky’s Symphony No.5 and Szymanowski’s Violin Concerto No.1 with Christian Tetzlaff.

At the end of the month, Gimeno joins Dallas Symphony Orchestra for 3 concerts on 2425 and 26 November for Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker Suite No.1, Stravinsky’s Firebird Suite and Mozart’s Concerto for Violin No.5 with Alexander Kerr.
